Hi! My name is Amaris, and I wear many hats at RESTOR3 YOUR HEALTH, but my primary role is Operations Manager.
A little bit about me…
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL but am now married, living in a completely different state. Never thought that would happen, but that is pretty much the story of my life. My plans versus God’s plans. In fact, I grew up wanting to be a speech therapist, but when I went to college, my career path took a totally different turn. I fell in love with communications and ended up graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Media.
So, how did a girl from Chicago with a Communications degree end up working for Amy full-time? While in college, I worked for a retail company to make money while I was in school. But, let me tell you, retail was not for me. I needed a change that would allow me more flexibility since I was still in school, so that is exactly what I was praying for. At that time, Amy was living in Chicago and needed a babysitter a few times a week. As the Lord would have it, a friend of mine recommended me, and after speaking on the phone with Amy, we instantly connected without ever having met in person. It was such a God moment. I quit my retail job and embarked on what I thought would just be a temporary job to get me through school. Little did I know that the Lord had other plans. Amy and her husband ended up moving after signing with another team, and I thought that would be the last time I would see or work for them.
Well, let me tell you, it wasn’t. I graduated college during the pandemic, and Amy actually offered me a full-time job as she had suffered a tramatic injury and needed help. In my typical fashion, I turned her down and rejected her offer.
I applied to job after job in Chicago, only to be met with rejection after rejection. As the Lord would have it, again, Amy offered me a full-time job the following year. This time I knew it was the Lord and meant to be. I accepted and what started out as a part-time role with her kids and part-time role in her business, has now turned into a completely full-time position at amy migdalia. I am so thankful the Lord brought us together. We are practically family at this point.
My favorite part of the job is two-fold. First, I love the flexibility and freedom I have in this job. I work remotely, so I can work from anywhere. Amy also creates a work environment that is conducive to flexibility and freedom, so if I have appointments, need to run errands, or end work earlier, she is always willing and understanding. We work hard, play hard, and relax hard. The second part of the job that I love is all the learning that takes place. Without having to hire Amy myself, I feel like I have such a good grasp on what it takes to reach optimal health and have even made changes of my own that have lead to positive health results. For that, I am thankful.
As far as my role is concerned, I most enjoy working on the back-end of the business, so everything from creating graphics, shooting videos, creating templates, making sure all of our automations are running smoothly, and so on. I look forward to seeing how my role will continue to evolve as the business grows!
